Our Compost and Topsoil Delivery Solutions

We offer fertile topsoil, compost, or a blended mix of both. Our material is specially created to help plants absorb water and essential nutrients, and promote the growth of beneficial microorganisms. It can take 100 years for a piece of land to naturally build up just an inch of fertile topsoil, but Superior’s crew can get the same job done in just a couple of hours.

The soil is delivered with our blower or slinger trucks to quickly place the material where it needs to go with minimal disruption to your property. When combined with our additional delivery and installation services, such as decorative stone, bark, mulch, and hydroseeding, you’ll have everything you need to create a beautiful landscape area.

How Does Soil Delivery and Installation Work?

There are four steps to our soil delivery and installation process.

1. Identify the Area to Be Covered

The customer chooses the location they wish the new topsoil or compost to be installed. Once you have the area measured out, we will be able to calculate how many cubic yards of soil you need and how long the installation process will take. You will likely want to have three inches of topsoil placed over the top of the existing soil.

2. Choose a Soil Type

We have the choices of topsoil, compost, or a 50/50 mixture of both. Topsoil is great for filling landscape areas or for creating a base layer for your plants, while compost is good for adding on top of your existing soil and serving as fertilizer. Our mixture option is great for getting both jobs done at the same time.

3. Install the Soil

Superior’s trucks are ideal for delivering soil exactly where you want it, even in hard-to-reach places. The blower truck shoots the topsoil or compost through a long tube while a crewmember directs it where it needs to go like a firefighter working a water hose. The slinger has a long metal conveyor belt-like structure that throws the soil in an arc into the lawn or landscape bed.

4. Clean the Area

Once the soil is in place, our crew will perform any cleanup that needs to be done and make sure that the soil is well distributed. After that, you’re ready to start planting!

Who Can Benefit from Soil Delivery and Installation?

We frequently perform delivery and installation for both residential and commercial properties, as well as professional landscapers. Our topsoil and compost are mostly used in landscape beds to provide fertile soil for shrubs, flowers, and other plants. But the soil can also be placed on lawns to better promote the growth of new grass.

Benefits of Compost and Topsoil Installation

Skip the wheelbarrow and shovel. Superior’s installation places the soil and compost directly where it needs to be so you can start planting.

Some other soil delivery companies will simply stop a truck at your property and dump several yards of compost in your front yard. Or you may have to go buy bags of soil yourself, then load and unload it. Superior’s crew will put your soil exactly where it needs to be with professional and friendly customer service.

Cost of Soil Delivery and Installation

The cost of soil delivery and installation will vary depending on the type of soil you purchase and how much you need. When you talk to our team, they will be able to help you figure out just how much soil you need and what type would work best with the plants you intend to use.

DIY vs. Professional Topsoil Delivery and Installation

Superior’s crew members are experts at landscaping. They will be able to ensure your soil is professionally installed, aesthetically appealing, and well-suited to placing new plants and shrubs. Installing the soil yourself could take hours of hard labor.
