Unstable Slopes Get Costlier Every Season

When slopes shed soil, you lose ground, expose roots, and send sediment into water. Patchwork fixes fail under heavy rain, which leads to new washouts and safety concerns. Every delay increases repair scope and cost. You need a system that stabilizes the face, supports vegetation, and starts protecting the day it goes in.

Why More Sites Choose Living Slope Systems?

Proven protection

SOX containment with proper anchoring resists erosion at the slope and waterline, then holds once roots establish.

Natural finish

Systems are filled with a custom growing media and vegetated to blend with the site.

Lower impact

Bioengineered solutions avoid the disturbance of concrete or steel barriers.

What exactly is slope erosion control?

Slope erosion control stabilizes hillsides with durable containment, a site specific growing media, and vegetation. Superior offers living erosion control solutions, including SOX systems that begin protecting as soon as they are installed.

We understand slopes, shorelines, and inspection pressure

Homeowners, campuses, and municipalities want safer slopes that look clean and pass review. We are a certified service provider for SOX Erosion Solutions and install DredgeSOX or ShoreSOX based on conditions, then vegetate for long term hold.

DIY fixes vs partnering with Superior

Hand placing materials on a slope is labor heavy and rarely uniform. Without containment and anchoring, faces keep sloughing. Trained crews install the proven system, fill to contour, and vegetate so protection starts fast and lasts longer.

Superior stabilizes more than lakeshore slopes

Residential hillsides and landscape berms that show rutting
Commercial campuses and multifamily grades that need clean edges
Golf course and park slopes that see foot traffic and runoff
Banks near ponds, streams, and drainage channels where water undercuts

What are the steps to stabilize a slope?

1. Inquire and evaluate
Share photos or request a visit. We help determine whether DredgeSOX or ShoreSOX fits your slope, especially near water. Systems are filled with a custom blend of sand, topsoil, and organics, then vegetated with seed, plantings, or sod.
2. Schedule the work
After we confirm quantities, components, and logistics, we set the installation date.
3. Prep and install
We schedule MISS DIG for locates, identify outlet pipes, clear debris, and deploy the SOX containment with proper anchoring.
4. Fill and vegetate
We fill the system with the substrate, contour to the slope, then add native plantings, water plants, seed, or sod so roots knit the face.
5. Immediate protection
DredgeSOX and ShoreSOX provide protection upon installation, with vegetation adding strength as it establishes.

I've been installing landscapes and hydroseeding my entire adult life. We hired this company for a very large and complicated project to blow compost. We had such a great experience we used them to hydromulch the site when we finished native seeding. They moved their schedule twice to meet conditions and were happy to do so. They were very professional, the crew was very polite, they went way above and beyond to make sure it was easy for us and our client. I cant say enough good about the people, the company, and the work. I look forward to getting to use them on another project in the future.

This company is amazing. They came out on Monday and did and amazing job. They prepared the lawn, removing a lot of rocks. They did an amazing job for erosion control. They were professional and communicated from the beginning. Tuesday, Buckets of rain. All the prep work, hydroseed washed away. Were the erosion mats were laid did exactly what it was supposed to do but no company can prepare for the amount of water that God released. Wednesday, I called and talked to Bill. Whom I had been in contact with from the beginning. Bill stopped by house, told me he had a truck in the area. A crew was out there fixing the yard and re-hydroseeded my yard without extra cost. I could not have been happier of their professionalism and customer service. I would highly recommend Superior if your in need of hydroseeding.

Can't recommend these guys enough. Called Terry on a short notice to try to get mulch in on a project that meant a lot to me. Even in their busiest time of year he managed to make it happen for me within the timeline I needed it. His guys were knowledgeable and very polite. They knew exactly how much mulch I was going to need to finish the project and got it done. They also blew the area spotless and even managed to clean up some of my mess in the process. All around 10/10 company and I wouldn't want to work with anyone else!
