From the Owner…

A Historical Perspective… I started in the blower truck industry working for my father. He owned one Express Blower truck, which had lost money for four years in a row. He offered to sell me the truck, however I asked if he would allow me to operate the truck for one year before making my decision. This gave me the opportunity to get to know the business and decide if I could "make a go of it" or not.

The first year I operated the blower truck, we made a small profit, and I learned a lot! I purchased the truck in March of 2000, and Superior Groundcover Inc was born. It took us a few years to get on our feet, but the business grew steadily after those early years. We presently operate five Express Blower trucks, and as our fleet has expanded, so has the variety of our services.

The blower truck industry has seen rapid growth and many changes in recent years, and we are pleased to be a part of the excitement! We have recently entered the erosion control market as a licensed Filtrexx installer, and are excited to offer the best-performing products in the industry. Our playground and rock-blowing yardage and capabilities continue to grow as we make use of new equipment and materials. Mulch-blowing is still our bread and butter, and each spring, the work and hours are intense as we continue to subcontract for landscapers throughout Michigan.

No matter what material is blown through our hoses, we ensure that each job looks spectacular and exceeds our customer's expectations. The team at Superior Groundcover strives to provide the best service possible, and will continue to stay on the leading edge of the ground cover industry.
